Clay

Rhassoul clay, also known as Moroccan red clay or ghassoul clay, is a brown clay sourced only from a valley in Morocco's Atlas Mountains. Several different Mediterranean cultures have used it for over a thousand years as a cosmetic ingredient, including in traditional part of the Hammam experience in Morocco.

Rhassoul clay is full of metallic elements rich in magnesium and potassium, carrying a negative charge. This negative charged Rhassoul clay draws out positively charged toxins and dirt and bonds to them to go with water during cleansing, making a great detoxifier for skin and hair.

The research suggests that the clay has healing properties with many anecdotal data due to its unique mineral composition. According to the study, Rhassoul's protective properties are believed to include its ability to absorb and nullify toxic substances that damage while acting as a barrier. Rhassoul may cleanse impurities and excess oil from the scalp as well as exfoliate it because the clay naturally contains silica. It is free from trace amounts of lead, particularly with Bentonite clay being a safest and purest form of clay.

Dynastia's scrub and mask formulas made with Mediterranean red clay help gently deep purify while refining skin's texture. Clarity is restored, leaving you with a radiant, youthful complexion.
